is a basic and fundamental human necessity… I believe that universal healthcare
is necessary if we want to live in a prosperous and fair society...Countless people are dying from curable illnesses because they can’t afford to buy medicines/lack of health insurance… Universal health care actually lowers health care costs for an economy… creates a healthier workforce…
However, some people believe that healthcare is a luxary. They don’t want to spend their money (through taxes) on medicine and surgeries for other people…
Statistics of public health expenditure in different healthcare systems; how many preventable deaths are linked to lack of health coverage(US), examples of countries with universal healthcare system…
In conclusion, … universal healthcare system will save lives and make everyone more healthy, happy and productive.
